Greetings! My name is Yana, and I’m the Owner and Botanical Curator at Florauna Plant Shop. During my late 20s, I felt an inkling of curiosity about houseplants and began with a small cutting off my mom’s flourishing neon pothos. Somehow, I found myself with nearly one-hundred plant companions and my love for horticulture growing exponentially! Having studied expressive therapy, I soon realized that plant care and observation became a therapeutic outlet for me. From the vibrant green pops throughout the house to the forest scent permeating the closed glass plant shelf, the presence of plants undoubtedly enchanted my life. Why not embrace my very green hands and share the magic of plants with the community? And thus sprouted Florauna Plant Shop.

Beyond my life as a self-proclaimed plant fairy, I spend my time reading fantasy novels, adventuring with my husband and dog, commencing zoomie hour with our cats, and gaming. I am also a painter but admittedly have not picked up a brush in some time. With the artistic, cozy feel at the Winsmith Mill, I’m so very excited to share my own little blooming space with visitors and fellow shopkeepers.
